A group of extra ordinary women from Sunderland have clubbed together to support with raising awareness and lowering the age of cervical screening.
Amy Pink the Director of Dangerous Couture was inspired to do the calendar after a close friend had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Initally shocked about the young age of her friend and the lack of awareness to this potentially life threatening disease, she asked several Sunderland girls if they would support with the campaign.
The girls all from Sunderland were all keen to support the cause and not only have they all contributed to the making and release of the Calender Girls, each one has their own unique ideas and events planned to continue to raise much needed awareness and protest agaisnt loweing the age of cervical screening.
